Charts from OKCupid, showing how straight women and men rate each other based on ages. For women, the men they find most attractive are roughly their own age. For men, the women they find most attractive are roughly the same age - 20 to 23 - regardless of the age of the man. (538)
Good fucking Christ.
eyyyyy check out society’s worship and oversexualization of young women
Im 21 right now and this makes me feel really sick. ew.
White people pretending like they know more about my culture than I do
It’s horrifying that I’m not the only one facing this, that white people not only romanticize the fuck out of our religion and culture, appropriate it, but now have taken to trying to teach us how it works instead.
idk how to react - it’s kinda too ridiculous to be real.
I’m white and i would never presume to know more about another persons culture than they do. if they do something that i thought was different in their culture, i will ask them, since they know better than i do about it. These assholes need to get their heads on straight.
also i can’t believe the number of people bragging about their understanding of a culture they clearly don’t get, and then using racial slurs against you. that is fucked up.
I was feeling a little down the other day so I decided to look back on what i’ve made this year. I realized I had ten “original” projects so I decided to put them into a photoset!
I’m proud of what i’ve made so far but I haven’t accomplished nearly as much as I had hoped!
Luckily I have three months left, hopefully I can get a satisfactory amount of stuff done in that time period. I think I have at least twelve projects I would like to finish up before this year ends, which is kind of crazy.
Most of these were made between April-August, and this isn’t including Elsa, stays, chemises, headpieces, or incomplete projects. Everything was drafted and sewn by me, and most of them are original designs!
If you are black and complaining about how “white privilege” is the reason for all your problems and why a majority of people in prisons are black - you need to seriously open your eyes. They’re not in prison because they’re black, they’re in prison because they broke the law(s) Get over yourself already and admit that something needs to be done amongst the black community . YOU are the ones who need to change, not us.
So I was on Facebook and I saw this picture and looked at the comments (I know, why in the world would I do that) but wow.. I did not expect to see pages of positivity and people sticking up for this woman. (I have a lot more screen shots) Incase anyone is losing hope, just know that as hopeless as things may seem with all the misogyny and sexism we’re exposed to.. Things are gonna change. Slowly, but surely. Don’t give up everyone!
This is the first time I ever seen someone saying something positive on facebook
